Playing Bedrock for Windows?

Modern Bedrock no longer includes VR. Mojang removed VR and Mixed Reality gameplay in update 1.21.80. Scanning a QR code here cannot turn the installed Windows game into phone VR.

You can keep playing Bedrock normally through its own app. This page does not launch or control an existing signed-in Minecraft session.

The available VR route: Java + Vivecraft

Vivecraft adds immersive VR to Minecraft Java on a gaming PC with a compatible VR setup. It supports seated keyboard and mouse play. This requires installation and SteamVR; it is separate from this lab’s phone QR connection.

  1. Open the official Minecraft Launcher on your own PC and sign in with your own Microsoft account. Check the displayed profile before playing.
  2. Check that Java Edition is available. Mojang bundled Java and Bedrock for Windows PC owners; mobile or console ownership alone is different.
  3. Follow the Vivecraft installation guide for a supported Minecraft version and headset setup.

Every player keeps their own profile

There is no shared Minecraft account on this site. The lab does not collect Microsoft passwords, store Minecraft sign-in tokens, or provide access to the site owner’s profile.

For the installed-game route, sign-in happens in each player’s own launcher. On a shared computer, switch away from the previous person’s account before playing. This website cannot verify or change the account selected inside an installed game.

A future browser version will need its own verified Microsoft sign-in and ownership check for each player before gameplay. That connection is not enabled yet.
